PediaTrack Parenting Assistant Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PediaTrack handles information used in the app. It does not replace the privacy notices of your child's clinicians, health plan, or other care providers.
Information we process
With your permission, PediaTrack may process appointment audio to create a visit summary. The recording is used only for that immediate purpose and is deleted after summary generation. Parent-entered survey responses are collected only when you choose to provide them. Limited operational metadata, such as follow-up completion, may be aggregated to help improve product performance.
Optional research choices
You may choose whether to share eligible parent-entered survey information for pediatric research partnerships or anonymized AI model improvement. The app remains available if you decline. When sharing is approved, direct identifiers are removed before data is made available for an approved use.
How we protect information

Your choices and rights
You can review or change research choices in the app. You may request access to eligible information, export available records, or request deletion, subject to applicable requirements. Withdrawal stops future optional sharing. Information already de-identified and shared cannot be traced back to you or withdrawn from a research dataset.
Data retention
Visit recordings are deleted immediately after summary generation. Parent-entered survey data is retained encrypted until consent is withdrawn or three years pass, whichever comes first. Anonymized research data may be retained for the duration of an approved data use agreement.
